About Me

My name is Kerry Cooke. I am currently studying social media and web marketing at CDI College because I believe that having strong digital marketing skills will help me successfully promote my future business. My goal is to open my own cleaning company, where I can apply both my expertise in cleaning and my knowledge of marketing to grow a successful business.

Owning my own salon in Jamaica taught me valuable skills such as business management, customer relations, and marketing. I handled scheduling, budgeting, and promotional strategies to attract and retain clients. These experiences have made me adaptable, resourceful, and capable of handling different aspects of a business.

In five years, I have seen myself as a successful business owner, running my own cleaning company, Spotless Cleaning Service. I plan to use my marketing knowledge to build a strong brand presence and attract clients through digital platforms. I also hope to expand my services, hire a skilled team, and establish long-term contracts with residential and commercial clients.

I attended Little London High School in Jamaica, where I developed a strong work ethic and a passion for entrepreneurship. Before moving to Canada, I owned and managed my hair salon for about 5-6 years. Running my salon gave me firsthand experience in business operations, customer service, and financial management. Additionally, I have over 8 years of experience in cooking and cleaning, which has allowed me to develop strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Throughout my career, I have taken on various roles that have helped me refine my professional skills. My experience in the cleaning industry has allowed me to master deep-cleaning techniques, organization strategies, and efficient cleaning methods to ensure customer satisfaction. My background in cooking has also strengthened my ability to work in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality.
